Contemporary Furnishings for Your New Loft

Here at North of Boston Lofts.com we have a love of not just chic spaces, but contemporary furniture as well. Our favorite furnishings come from Design Within Reach (http://www.dwr.com/), beautiful chairs, tables, and lamps from Philippe Starck, Eames, and Isamu Noguchi.

We have to admit however, since the economic slow down this design is not really within our reach. We are delighted however when we receive the latest Ikea, and CB2 catalogs. Whatever you decide to furnish your apartment with, open loft space bathed in sunlight tend to make everything look modern and sleek.

Some of the best inspiration for furnishing our space has come from the professionally staged model units we've toured (see below.) Accent wall painting can make a huge difference for the feel of a loft. If you do have all white walls contrast is your friend. Dark tables and furniture can work to warm up a space with pops of bright colors. The point is lofts are flexible and this is your space to personalize and some of the most fun you will ever have with your clothes on! Make it your own!
